Once in the installer, DO NOT change the directory, instead select the install mode you want (minimum or normal) to proceed with the install. You may need to try the test a few times, but it should then run the installer. Select to run with the recommended settings, and try testing it. To bypass the no ssp.ini error, try running the installer with windows program compatibility troubleshooter.
